The studio
A small team that answers its own email.
Halt Designs has built websites and software from Karachi since 2014, working with clients in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. The team is in-house — designers and engineers employed by the studio, not contractors assembled per project — which is why the person who scoped your work is still there when you need a change in year three.
Most agencies our size stay small by accident. We stay small on purpose: it is the only way to keep the person who understood the problem in the room when it gets built.
That has consequences we are honest about. We take on a limited number of projects at a time, so there is sometimes a wait. We quote fixed prices, so we say no to briefs that are not ready to be quoted. And we will tell you when a project does not need us — when a Shopify theme and a good photographer will genuinely serve you better than a custom build.
What we do not do is subcontract your work to someone we found that morning, or hand you a themed site with the serial numbers filed off.

The studio is in Karachi. Meetings happen on a call inside your working hours, in your time zone, not ours.
