Light Of Islam Book 4

Light of Islam provides basic knowledge of Islamiyat for classes 1 to 8. This series is based on the Pakistan National Curriculum 2022-23 and covers its Student Learning Objectives (SLOs).

The series aims to develop the mental, moral and physical aspects of a child’s personality in the light of Islam.

Written in a student-friendly manner, care has been taken to explain the tenets of Islam in a simple and easy-to-understand language.

Students will understand the essential values and practices of Islam like tolerance, justice, unity, brotherhood, equality and love of one’s country and its people.

Emphasis has been placed on good conduct and behaviour. Students are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained from the teachings of the Holy Qu’ran and Sunnah in their daily activities.

Nighat Gaya Bajwa, author of the Light of Islam series, has worked in education for over 30 years and is associated with Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE). She conducts face-to-face and online training of teachers worldwide from London, UK, where she is based. She is also the author of:

• Our Wonderful World – Social Studies (Pre-primary and primary school textbooks for Classes KG, 1 to 5 published by Lightstone Publishers).

Batul Ali has decades of experience as an educator and editor for school textbooks and academic books. Her subjects are English, Urdu, history, geography and social studies.
