Kulsoom Ghias, PhD, SHFEA, is an Associate Professor and currently chairs the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences at AKU. She has experience in the development and delivery of bioethics curricula and serves on the institutional human subject research-related ethical review committee.
Kausar S Khan, MA in Philosophy (Karachi University) and MA in Philosophy (McMaster University, Canada). She was a PhD candidate in Religious Study at McMaster University. She has worked with the AKU Ethics Review Committee and as a member of the AKU Hospital Ethics Committee. She is a member of the AKU Bioethics Group and Karachi Bioethics Group.
Murad M Khan, MRCPsych, PhD, is a Professor Emeritus with the Department of Psychiatry and Brain and Mind Institute at AKU and Associate Faculty at the Centre of Bioethics and Culture (CBEC) in Karachi, Pakistan. He has a special interest in bioethics in general and organisational ethics in particular.
Sameer Nizamuddin is currently a graduate student of Educational Research at the University of Calgary specialising in Adult Learning. His research interests include human rights and trauma-informed education in the current global refugee crises. Earlier, he was the Coordinator for the Bioethics Group at AKU.
