She has experience in the development and delivery of bioethics curricula and serves on the institutional human subject research-related ethical review committee.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Kausar S Khan<\/b>, MA in Philosophy (Karachi University) and MA in Philosophy (McMaster University, Canada). She was a PhD candidate in Religious Study at McMaster University. She has worked with the AKU Ethics Review Committee and as a member of the AKU Hospital Ethics Committee. She is a member of the AKU Bioethics Group and Karachi Bioethics Group.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\"><b data-path-to-node=\"7\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Murad M Khan<\/b>, MRCPsych, PhD, is a Professor Emeritus with the Department of Psychiatry and Brain and Mind Institute at AKU and Associate Faculty at the Centre of Bioethics and Culture (CBEC) in Karachi, Pakistan. He has a special interest in bioethics in general and organisational ethics in particular.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"8\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Sameer Nizamuddin<\/b> is currently a graduate student of Educational Research at the University of Calgary specialising in Adult Learning. His research interests include human rights and trauma-informed education in the current global refugee crises. The identification and resolution of these ethical issues is often governed by unique socio-cultural, economic and religious factors. This gives rise to the need for local and contextualized cases to better illustrate and understand ethical issues and dilemmas through a distinctive cultural, historical and geographical lens.
