He is Special Correspondent, Art and Culture, for <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"144\">Dawn<\/i>, Pakistan\u2019s largest English-language newspaper, and has been associated with it for the last 22 years. A column on Karachi\u2019s colonial buildings, \u201cThe Stone Age\u201d, for four years, a selection of which was compiled into a coffee-table book titled <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"393\">Karachi \u2013 Legacies of Empires<\/i>. He published his first collection of English poems, <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"476\">Bemused<\/i>, in 2017, followed by a book of Urdu poems, <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"528\">Waqt<\/i>, in 2018. In 2021, a collection of his English short stories <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"594\">Ephemera<\/i> came out in the form of an e-chapbook, followed by his second collection of poems, <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"686\">Nonplussed<\/i>, and a collection of Urdu short stories, <i data-path-to-node=\"4\" data-index-in-node=\"738\">Kirdar<\/i>, as e-chapbooks.
