Smart English – Starter

The Lightstone pre-primary textbooks are designed to
introduce active learning to preschool learners. They provide
children with simple and attractive sensory and visual learning
experiences through which they are introduced to language,
numbers, fundamental skills and ethics.
The approach and philosophy of the pre-primary series is to
nurture the growth of every child in terms of their language
development while also nurturing their emotional, creative,
mathematical and physical development as they progress from
pre-nursery, nursery through Kindergarten to the start of the
primary school.
New keywords and concepts are introduced and connected
to themes and topics relevant to young learners’ worlds and
experiences. The topics start close to home and school in Level
1 and gradually take the child into settings and experiences in
the broader world around them by the end of Level 3.
The books are carefully designed and illustrated to capture the
attention of young learners.
